Today, 10 members of IDEPSCA's Worker Centers are in Sacramento, advocating for the passage of State Bill 588, which will help in the collection of Wage Theft judgements in the state of California. Day Laborers know that filing a wage theft claim is hard enough. Actually collecting when a judgement is entered at times seems impossible. This is why the workers themselves are at the forefront of this struggle. They and their families are the ones directly impacted when employers first steal wages and then refuse to pay judgements.

We are proud of all of the workers who sacrificed a day of work and took the long trip not just for themselves but for all low-wage workers.
